My good friend with his carbon R34 had a track day yesterday. He had fitted a ‘unbreakable’ Hollinger 6 speed sequential gearbox, but after an testrun the gearbox broke. Lucky for Piers he didn’t sold the old gearbox yet so they refitted the old Getrag, so he could run the car on the track.
What a menazing shot, so cool. The wider fenders really set this car of. The car uses an 2.8ltr Tomei kit with forged pistons and HKS fully balanced crank. The twin turbo setup has been replaced for an single T88 33D turbo.
Here are the new rims, SSR Type F that were specially ordered and coated because the Volk RE30 wouldn’t fit over the Endless calipers.
How’s this for an ass? As you have guessed the tires for use on the track are Yokohama A048 semi slicks Edit; I just got word he didn’t used the A048 but the new A050 tires on the track

Wow, that is one tight look car. I’m into he no-paint look If I get a car to promote my diecast business, I hope I can get it in a matte finish and on the side I’ll have the website name on it with a cool looking designer tattoo like image on the side.
If I get it, maybe I’ll send you a pic for the “guys just starting out” section.
Hey, Plese do send me a picture
Is there a reason why he switched from Vok CE28n’s to the SSR’s? Couldn’t help but notice in the pictures. This R34 defines the word “menacing”! Great pictures and info sir! You haven’t posted in a while so I hope all is well with you and yours. Take care!
Cheers,
Walter
