Phoenix Power R35

This is the first car I saw that has the Harrison bodykit fitted. Too bad the pictures don’t show the correct colour, because it is in fibrant red. The car belongs to Phoenix Power.

1

Phoenix Power fitted the new BBS LM DBK rims, they are 20″ 9.5j ET40 in the front and 20″ 10.5j ET20 in the back. I really thought these wheels would look good, but I have my doubts. I think they look to massive on the car. For the tires Phoenix chose the Potenza RE070R and they measure a massive 255 in the front and 285 in the back.

2

All black parts of the car are colour coded to give it a clean look. They also have a ECU in place that overrides the speed limiter, according to them the car should reach the 309km/h.

HKS YOKOMO Racing performer IS220-Z

Nobuteru had is first outing with this car during the second round of the D1GP. For it’s first outing it did really great against all the others that didn’t had a break and could maintain there skill. In the end he finished 9th with this car.

1

Such a cool car. The MSR graphics and the gold Advan RS work very well together. Behind the wheels you can see the 6 pot Endless brakes for that much needed stopping power.

2

At first I didn’t realised there were two cars, bot these cars are both running the 3SGE Beams engine. The one with the stickers is there competition car and the other one is their test car. It is running

3

Fuel cell and an exta large fuel pump are needed to feed the 850cc injectors. The exhaust is an one off prototype made by HKS.

4

The man himself, thinking about his chances. Both car are running the Hypermax D suspension, this setup isn’t out yet for the public.

5

The competition car is called the IS220-Z. They also have an R version and that one is running an 2JZ with a stroker kit from HKS that increases its capacity to 3400cc. HKS doesn’t mentions it’s horsepower figures.

6

How’s this for an working space? These car are build with such a high standards, they are truly full fledged racing cars. Oofcourse HKS put all their electronic gadgets in this car like the CAMP2, F-con Pro and EVC system.

Second Top Secret R35 spotted

The first Top Secret R35 was spotted at the Tokyo Auto Salon, it was silver grey. But they also have this white one, it was spotted at the Nagoya Exciting Car Showdown. I wonder what they have in store for this car.

They haven’t released any information regarding tuning parts and and other related stuff. I’m guessing they are going to wait for an major carshow and reveal everyting all at once. We will just have to wait.

GT-R laps the Grüne Holle even faster

Today I got an heads up on some more news regarding the Nissan GT-R. The GT-R recorded an even faster time of 7 minutes and 29 seconds. The time was recorded during testing on the Nurburgring on the 16th and 17th of April.

At last year’s testing, we were frustrated by the conditions at the Nurburgring, always believing that the GT-R could go under seven minutes 30 seconds.” said Kazutoshi Mizuno, Chief Vehicle Engineer for GT-R. “Below seven minutes 30 seconds, the GT-R proves it is among the fastest mass-production cars in the world. We set out to build a multi-performance supercar accessible to anyone, anytime and anywhere - I believe the GT-R has delivered that promise

The car that was used was in standard trim and had no extra modifications, for the tires they used the standard Japanese market tires. The driver was Tochio Suzuki, he is the chief test driver for Nissan.

Blue R34 GT-R

Here is a very nice example of a clean R34, I really have to get used to no spoiler look but it works pretty good. Matthew Mead shot these photo’s at the Circuit Club at Wakefield Park in Australia. There were alot of high powered cars, like an EVO 9 (more on that one later) and a nicely modded S2000.

4

You just can’t beat that Top Secret front bumper, the colour of the car also works very well. The car has the almighty RB26 with twin HKS gt25 turbo’s and uprated internals.

1

Love the spoiler less look in this picture, the car sits on a Aragosta suspension and is adjustable in every thinkable way.

2

Nismo sideskirts and a Top Secret diffusor, the ideal aero package.

3

Never saw these rims before, they are Racing Sparco Vipers in 18″. behind the rims you can see the Endless brake assembely
