Happy New Year
Rips Racing 240Z
I’m not a big fan of dragracing, straight line racing doesn’t do it for me. But what I do admire is the craftmanship that some companies put in their cars. One of those companies is Rotorua Import Pro Shop from New Zealand. They keep building cars that amazes me.
This time they have built a 240Z that had a RB26 transplant. It already ran a 10:1 on the quarter mile. These pictures speak louder than words.
Oh and did I forget to mention that this car was build on a budget? 15K including the price of the car.

Nice parking lot
Came across this picture while searching the internet. I really like the look of the Er34 in the front of the picture. It really looks badass with those chrome wheels. Not the look I’m used to seeing, but definiatly looking good. It has a full URAS bodykit and a nice colour. Not flashy but just right to show up at your local club, and be amazed how many girls you could pick up 😉
Sunline Lowered The R35 GT-R
Some more pictures of the R35 GT-R with the new rims. Sunline also lowered the car. As said before this was al shot during a track day at Aida circuit where the car ran a 01:42 lap
Revspeed was also present to record the day for upcoming DVD’s.
Thanks to Thrust for providing the info
Here is the firts Skyline that had is rims changed. I’m not sure on the brand of the rims and also not sure about the looks. What I do like is that at least one company is pushing the envelope and testing the water for other tuners out there. Hope to see some more tuners changing the rims on the R35 GT-R.
The rims in the rear even has some dishu 🙂
Edit: I have just been informed that the rims are Volk Work wheels.
The picture was taken at the Aida race track in Japan. Yasu Kikuchi who is a famous GT300 race driver drove the Sunline R35 around the track and put down a time of 01:42. that is 3 seconds faster than the previous time that Sunline posted on the same track. Check my previous post about that time here
Mine’s has released a few photo’s of their newly designed parts for the R35 GT-R. I really like the setup of the new exhaust. These parts will all be shown during the Tokyo Auto Salon. Niikura-san the owner of Mine’s has also stated that their will be a Tuned ECU and a new air filter.
