Kobayashi San, the owner of MCR has confirmed the time of 1:01:9 driven by Keiichi Tsuchiya on Tsukuba. Remember that car was not altered and was driving in standard spec.
I congratulate MCR with this win and spectacular time, now it is time for Mine’s to post an even faster time on the track.

The guys behind GTC Racing Technology have shared some pictures that were taken at the HKS and HKS Kansai headquarters in Japan.
The R35 from HKS has their corporate colour Black and can been seen side by side with their Driving Performer R34 GT-R
The HKS Kansai R35 is in white together with a EVO X and the new Subaru Impreza

It seems that Matchless Crowd Racing (MCR) have beaten the time of the Mine’s R35 on the Tsukuba track. The time that MCR recorded was 1:01:9. The car was driven by Keiichi Tsuchiya for a episode of Best Motoring that will be on DVD in 2008.
The record was driven with a R35 in standard trim, so the time of just over a minute is astonishing. If you realise that a standard Lamborghini Superleggera manages a time of 1:02:5 on Tsukuba it is really impressive
Can’t wait to see the tuned versions of both tuners on the track batteling each other.
