D1GP season opener

The D1GP has ended in America and was allready gone in Europe. They are now focusing on the Japanese market. The first round was at the ‘new’ Ebisu track. I say new because the have new tarmac in place.

Kawabata from Team Toyo won the first round in his blue S15

Kazuyoshi Okachan from Yashio factory wasn’t so lucky, he crashed his S15 into the wall. He was together with Kuniaki Takahashi who drives a JZX100 in a Tsuiso drift. In front off the wall his wheels locked en he went hard agaisns the wall.

   

Here you can see Ken Nomura and his ER34 up close and personal. The car has the new bodykit from Uras together with the new Blitz Racing Wheels. The cars output is now 520hp. With his new setup he became second.

Third place went to Kazuhiro Tanaka from Team Orange, he drove the GDB Impreza

Nissan Stagea

This must be on the nicest looking Stagea’s in Japan. The car has had a facetransplant from its brother the R34.

Reckless R35 GT-R

Reckless specializes in luxury and sport vehicles and is located in Fukuoka Japan. Now they have turned their attention to the Nissan R35 GT-R. They have made a new exhasut system and did some minor modifications to the engine bay. On the outside we see some black rims, I do not know the brand or size. Maybe you guys can help me with that.

I got an email from CBA-R35 stating that the rims are a set of Varianza T1S in 21″.

   

Best Motoring part 5

It’s time for revenge, this time Best Motoring is putting the R35 against the Murciëlago LP640, Gallardo Superleggera, Porsche 997 turbo and Lotus Exige. The drivers will be Keiichi Tsuchiya, Naoki Hattori, Takayuki Kinoshita, Akira Iida, Yuji Ide. This will be a full Twin Ring Motegi timed attack.

Just look at the LP640 in this first picture, if that doesn’t scare you I don’t know what will 🙂

RB30 R34 Skyline

Global Auto does it again, they have another high powered Skyline for sale. This time it’s a R34 with a OS Giken RB30 and HKS T51R turbo. The car is running 800ps, that should be enough to conquer the Wangan, don’t you think?

On the outside the car is running Nismo goodies and Volk 19″ TE37 rims. Behind those Volk rims we can see a set of Endless 6 pots brakes. The suspension was supplied by Ohlins. In my opinion they are on the best builders of high end suspensions.
