Nomuken’s ’08 ER34

If we have to believe everything we read on the web, we should be looking out for the Nissan R35 at the start of the D1GP season with Ken Nomura behind the wheel. I’m not so sure this will happen at the opening race because there will be alot of modifications to get the R35 D1GP worthy. As we look at the amount of effort companies like Mine’s are putting in to their R35, I really don’t believe Blitz will have this car sideways on a competative level soon.

I think Nomuken will start with his ER34 for this season. Maybe later on in the season they will bring out the R35 and see how it does on the track.

here are some pictures of the car in it’s latest reincarnation. The bodykit used is not to my taste, I liked the one he used before and that is the same on my car much better.

Job Design Lexus GS

Here is another Lexus modified by JOB Design. This time it’s the GS series. The car has a complete bodykit and suspension system from JOB Design. In true VIP style this car is slammed on a set 20″ rims.

Be also on the lookout for a new bodykit for the Lexus IS series. JOB is designing a new bodykit for that car from scratch as you can see in the last picture. They are still doing it oldschool with some pencils and paper.

Carbon parts on the Garage Defend R35

Here are some better pictures of the R35 build by Garage Defend. The pictures were shot at the Nagoya Auto Trend Show. Garage Defend is testing the car at the Fuji Speedway to get the most out of it’s engine. Hope to see some serious results from this car.

The car has a Voltex rear spoiler, Garage Defend aero canards and a Blitz NUR spec exhaust. They are talking about 650bhp for the future.

Blitz Skyline R348

Around 1999 and 2000 it was very popular amongst Japanese tuners to do high speed runs. One of those tuners was Blitz, they build this R34 that they called the R348. I even have some old magazines where this car was featured.

The car had a 890bhp engine courtesy of a single KKK turbo and the rest of the Blitz catalogue. The bodykit isn’t to anybody’s taste but is was specially designed for this car and the high speed run. The rims are a set of Blitz Technospeed Z1 in 18″.

Blitz managed a top speed of 215mph (346km/h) on 2.3 bar of boost. The High Speed runs are coming back. Top Secret is going to try and break the 248mph (400km/h) barrier and Jun tried it with their Stream Z.
