Auto Produce Boss Impreza
Auto Produce Boss, based in Japan, specialises in ECU’s for different car platforms. They also have some democars, one of those democar is this Subaru Impreza GDB. It was present at the last Hypermeeting on Tsukuba, they managed a time of 01:02.30 sec. Not the fastest, but they turned down the boost because of the hot weather. They will be back to Tsukuba for the Super Battle in December.

The car uses an HKS GT3037ProS turbo, with this turbo the car managed a healthy 428ps on a dynapack. The internals were traded in for examples from JUN
Advan FD RX7
I first saw this car during the Tokyo Auto Salon 2008, I allready heard that the car belonged to the designer of the Advan RS rim. The only thing I do not understand is that the rim is called the RZ on the car but when you look on the Advan site the rim is advertised as the RS. Are there any differences between the two?

During TAS08 this car was featured on the Yokohama/Advan stand, you can see some nice Bride seats and a rollcage was also in place.
Brake setup from Project MU, I think the car is a bit crowded from behind. The spoiler is a bit too much. The diffuser on the other hand looks very cool.
Nice C-West frontbumper with extra aero canards.
HKS D1 Altezza shake down
After HKS and Nobuteru announced that they would return to the D1 they have been busy getting the car ready. Here are the first pictures of the car getting it’s shakedown.
The Altezza is running a modified 3SGE engine with a 2.2 litre stroker engine with a GT2835 turbo. Not sure if the output of the car has been changed, the ‘older’ car managed a respectable 430ps.
Getting the car sideways aint a problem according to these pictures 🙂
The man himself, Nobuter Taniguchi, I still think he has the best nickname ever NOB, No One Better.
New wing mirrors, and very large Advan RS rims. Also notice the cooling vent besided the towing hook. The turbo is mounted just beneath that vent.
