Sunline Carbon R34

A friend of mine in Japan owns one of the most hardcore looking GT-R’s in the world. At least that is my humble opinion. But maybe after seeing these pictures you will think the same 🙂

Complete carbon fibre wide bodykit made by Sunline Racing (SLR). A 6cm body-widening kit. Genuine carbon parts are the front nose, the 4 wings, the bonnet, the doors inner and outer, the rear wing, the bootlid and the wing mirrors. Also the car has a one off moulded carbon fitted roof, back light surrounds and rear bumper cover.

The rims are Advan Racing TCII in 18″x9.5j ET+16. This picture was taken before the engine rebuild. for the handling Piers has opted for the HKS Hypermax II suspension and alot of SLR goodies like tension rods, camber arms and pillow arms.

The car just came back today with a new N1 2.8 litre HKS build engine. A new Greddy turbo and titanium intake elbow.

New rollcage that doesn’t destroy the whole car, this car can still be driven on the road. The car is made to race and that is what it will do. Nice Nardi steering wheel and Bride seats.

And there you have it, 650hp to give it the advantage on the circuit. Together with the wait savings this car will be a serious contender for Time Attack events.

Expect some more info and pictures of this beast in the near future.

Newing Golf V GTI-RSR

Now it’s time for all your European car lovers, I don’t think that alot of people that read this drive a European car but still. Back in the days when street racing was cool I had a Golf II G60, it wasn’t the fastest but I thought it was one of the coolest looking rides.

Now we have arrived at the Golf V through the eyes of the Japanese based Newing. The make bodykits for all the platforms that Volkswagen produces. This GTI RSR version is there top of the range model.

The bodykit is a true bold on widebody kit, I really love the hardcore look with the rivets still showing. In Europe there is a strong movement of keeping the car as clean as possible but I really prefer this look.

New front bumper and cool carbon insert, you can also see how wide this car actually is. You definatly need a good set of rims to make this work.

How cool does this look? if I was driving a Golf I wouldn’t even have to think about buying a bodykit. I would go for this one every time.

The rims are a set of 20″ Alpil by Brombacher wheels in matt black. They really finish the look of this ubercool ride.

Viral Sports 350Z

Viral Sports is a bodykit design made by Anceltion. This 350Z is one of their demo cars and it is rocking their 3 piece Full Body Kit. The rims are a set of Glassenheit SPSIX in 19″. I heard story’s about Anceltion going bankrupt, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the design of this bodykit. I think this one looks good, and i’ve I had a 350Z I would definalty be rocking this bodykit.

Widebody RX7

This RX7 belongs to Mike Whiddet from New Zealand. He drifts in the D1NZ championship. This picture was taken at round 2 of this championship. Very cool shot.
