Still a impressive looking machine, here it is waiting in a pitbox. For a full write up you can check out Dino’s post on Speedhunters. Garage Saurus added some canards and a splitter.

Nissan Skyline 2000 EX-GT
Back to cars again, I really had to share this pristine Skyline that was featured on RiceboyTV. The car belongs to John Oshima and he fully restored this car to showroom condition. Please visit RiceboyTV for more pictures a full feature and even a video of this car on the road.
As stated in the blog title, this is a Nissan Skyline 2000 EX-GT from 1977. It was the first car Nissan made after they ditched the name GT-R. Luckily for us Nissan brought the name back to life and as we all know the rest is history.
Immaculate engine, a true JDM L20 engine bored to 2.9 liter, Mikuni carburators and a Circus header.
What nice picture, the lines of the car are timeless, Love it. The wheels are period correct SSR Longchamp XR-4 wheels.
Ben schaffer’s S2000
Just spreading the word, this S2000 has been featured before on this blog, but there are now some better and nicer pictures. The car is being owned by Ben Schaffer from Bulletproofautomotive, he is the importer of some very exclusive and wanted parts in the US.
The car has a mix of bodyparts from different Japanese tuners. Some names that will make you dazzle, Tracy Sports, Powerhouse Amuse, Top Secret and Spoon. Each tuner delivered parts that Ben modified to make his S2000 a true one off example.
Tires are from Toyo that protect the colour coded Ings+1 TS-06 in 19″. On the rear bumper you can see the MSR sticker. This is a signature sticker and it means that M.S.Revolution designed the graphics for this car. The owner of the company is the well known Mana P (D1GP) he also design’s the majority of the cars that compete in the D1GP, he also designed the graphics on my Skyline ER34
The rear diffusor is made by Top Secret but was originaly meant to be fitted onto a Skyline R34. Ben managed to incorporate this into his show winning machine. It sure looks like it was made for it. The exhaust is a one off made by Nippon Steel and are from titanium.
The hardtop was made by Spoon but for Ben that wasn’t exclusive enough so he decided he needed something different. He molded two side windows into the hardtop too make it even more exclusive.
JDM Garage AE86
Just came across this Toyota AE86, and thought that it was one of the coolest one I have seen in a long time. The car belongs to JDM Garage in Australia.
The car has custom made Longchamps XR4 wheels 15″x9,5 and it is running a SR20 engine. The engine has a HKS turbo, Sard 850cc injectors, Tomei cam gears and a E series locked diff. what more could you want? Man this thing looks good!!
Gotta show some EG Love
Here in Holland we really don’t have a JDM scene, offcourse there are a few pioneers but you really can’t call it a scene on itself. In America and Australia including New Zealand they are way ahead of us. Even I started with a Honda Civic, that was 10 years ago. I really loved that car, and I still do. But it was time to move on. That’s why I bought the next best thing and that was a Nissan and rear wheel drive car.
The Honda platform itself has a strong following, there are even companies that only build products for Honda. Even today the hatchbacks and the coupe’s are cars that are present on carshows worldwide. The Honda Civic EG has started the whole import craze for me. so I thought it was time to feature one of the cleanest EG’s I found recently.
This Civic Eg belongs to a group called JDMyard, the car features a set of Mugen seats and a 4 point chromoly Cusco cage. On the engine side this car is running the ever so popular K series engine swap. Like I said you just gotta show soem EG love.
JDM Allstars Triple Crown Series
There is a new kid in town and it is called the JDM Allstars Triple Crown Series. That’s a whole mouth full, but it looks like it is going to be something really special.
The mission statement
The 2008 JDM All-stars Triple Crown Series is a combination of our efforts and success in our two major events in 2007.For 2008 we have combined efforts with a number of drivers running the series. We will create a compact series which will bring drifting to new areas of the UK, and raise the profile of drifting in the UK to new levels that have not been reached before.
They allready have corporate backing of one of the most famous ‘rally organiser’ in the world. We are talking about the Gumball 3000. It is not all about the drifting itself but they are also going to follow the drifters around Europe, so we will see a inside look on the life of the drifters.
The cream of the crop are going to compete in these new series. I’m definilety going to be present at a few of these event’s this year. Really looking forward to it.
