HKS R35 on TCIII’s

I just love those meaty tires wrapped around the new TCIII wheels made by Advan.

If you could choose…

Here are three GT-R’s build by different tuners and each with a different approach. Thanks to GTR World we can see some nice photography of the cars build by HKS Kansai, MCR and Zele.

Wich car would you choose?

I would go for the R35 build by MCR, because I love the vibrant red on the car and that Kobayashi build the car as a fast track car but it can also be used as a daily driver. It managed to drive a one minute flat round on Tsukuba

First up is the MCR R35 GT-R with Enkei GTC1 Evolution rims in 20″ and a custom exhaust system featuring a double tip. The suspension consits of Endless Zeal Function damper with MCR specification. MCR has also uprated the brakes and fitted a set of Endless Mono 6 pot racing calipers and Endless two piece rotors.

Second is the R35 GT-R build by HKS Kansai.

The car is running AVS model F7 rims in 19″ and they fitted a HKS HiperMax III prototype suspension setup.

Third is this Zele build R35 GT-R that we all know by now. Zele is the only company that has designed a new bodykit for the R35 under the name Harisson. The car has alot of carbon parts, and it is said that the main Nissan importer in the UK has ordered the kit for their demo R35.

The rims are black painted Rays Gram Lights R57GT in 20″, they have left the original Bilstein suspension in place. Zele is working hard on two ecu’s to replace the original one, more info on that later.

Did you allready made your decision?

RB28 R32 Skyline

Sometimes you just know that you’re looking at some serious machinery. When I look at the engine bay of this car I know it’s going to go fast. The engine was built by Tomei in Japan and then airlifted to Prague, Czech republic. With the TO4Z HKS turbo he should be looking at a healthy 650bhp.

R34 N1 block
Tomei RB28 kit
Jun strenghtened crank bolts
Jun oil pump
Nismo main bearings
R34 N1 water pump
Tomei oversized oil pan
Tomei head gasket, oil restrictor
Tomei Procam 280° 10.8mm + adjust pulley
Tomei valve springs, valve lifters, PB valve guide, etc….

Can’t wait to see this car being finished, the owner reckons it will take him six weeks to finish it. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

HKS Kansai R35 GT-R

Here is the HKS Kansai version of the R35 GT-R. These are the first rims that I see on the R35 that I like. The AVS Model T7.

Black HKS Kansai R34 GT-R V-spec II

It really can’t get any completer than this. This car has the full HKS catalogue fitted. Put on a set of gorgeous AVS rims and project mu brakes and we have a winner. The only thing missing on this car is the V-Cam system from HKS.

And then there is the fact it is a V-Spec II that makes it even more exclusive. The car has over 500bhp and has only done 36.000km.

Just be in awe after watching the pictures

The HKS Kansai EVO X and Impreza GDB

HKS Kansai has made some considerable progress on two of the most popular JDM export cars from Japan.

The cars were modified in the suspension department and the engine got some upgrades.

The EVO X went from stock 288ps to 383.2ps. This was achieved by improving the piping on the turbo, a new intake manifold, and a new engine management. the car also benefits from alot of body reinforcement. It had extensive bracing throughout the entire car.

The Subaru went from stock 305.6ps to 330.8ps. This was almost done purely by upgrading the electronic components. so you see how much can be done when you go for a new engine management. The Subaru also got alot of braces in the rear and the front of the car to make it more rigid.

Both cars will be on display during the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon.
