J’s Racing new Widebody S2000, you could already see the design on ‘The Ku Cars’ but I can show you the final design featured on TAS 2009. They should have kept it yellow if you ask me, but there is no denying the bodykit looks great. The engine has been upped to 2.2 liter and is now pushing 320ps
Garage MAK specialises in the S body from Nissan, from the S13 to this amazing S15. In 2006 Garage MAK achieved a second place during the Revspeed Time Attack series with their S15 in the street class. So they definatly know how to build fast cars. Besides buidling fast cars they also produce bodykits and exhaust manifolds.
I just love the lines from the S15, rims are from AVS model T6
The frontbumper is a MAK Type II and is made on special order and by hand. So expect some serious cash if you want a similar bumper.
Here we can see the fibreglass flared wings, these wings are riveted to the body. The rear diffusor is made from carbon. the spoiler is adjustable and is als made by MAK
Two brothers side by side, both made by Garage MAK
Drifting in Holland is popular to a certain degree, everyone talkes about it and tries it. But there are only a few people that do it on a proffesional level. One of those people is Paul Vlasblom. He has a company that specialises in Porsche and BMW’s. So for him it was a natural step to start drifting in BMW. But not just a ordinay BMW, no he started in this BMW E36 Touring.
Drifting is also about geting noticed and to showoff. In England he is known as the guy with the loudest exhaust note. And in Holland he is just known as the Driftking. I worked with him in his shop and on a few events.
To car has been build to D1 standards, with extra lightweight doors, hood and trunk made out of FRP. It has a D1 approved rollcage and all the necessary safety precautions. The engine got swapped out of a M3, so now it has 3.2 motor. To help it breath it has a Hamann carbon airbox. The exhaust gasses are guided through a custom made exhaust from the front to the back. Thanks to the 2 shrick camshafts and the reprogrammed ECU the cars puts out a hefty 381bhp and 450Nm.
The most imported thing on a drift car is offcourse the suspension and handling part of the car. This car has a completely adjustable Intrax suspension system and a modified M5 rear differential.
The picture I took was taken at a friendly raceday where people could get a passenger ride with Paul Vlasblom. You can see our cars in the pits also, the ER34 and the R334
Jay at Dropjay Blog found another Top Secret build Supra with the Final Evolution bodykit. This time it’s silver with alot of graphics. The photo was taken at Daikoku Futo.
What do you get when you combine a R34 Skyline, a HKS RB2.8 engine, Holinger 6 speed gearbox and carbon widebody kit?
Then you get one on of the most hardcore looking R34’s out there. This car belongs to a friend that lives in Japan and is having his car build by Sunline Racing. It started out as a standard white R34. But now it looks like a full on Time Attack car. Remember that this is a customer car and not a car that belongs to a company.
They have just finished building the engine. According to Mr Taiyo Sato who is the boss of Sunline Racing this engine set up will be pushing more than 700bhp
When you think you have seen it all, it is just getting wider. This thing is even wider than a Hummer. I had these pictures for awhile and found them again while I was browsing through my archive.
The car has a Abflug bodykit but was modified by Curve to make it even more wider. They will be presenting a new widebody kit for the Toyota MR-S during the upcoming TAS 2008
