R35 at Mondello

Last Saturday Ben Linney from GTC went to Mondello Park Circuit in Ireland. He was there to showcase his R35, but that wasn’t the only car that got the attention. The other cars were the new EVO X and his older brother, the EVO IX. The EVO IX was build the same way as the Cyber EVO. But the car isn’t finished yet, but I can show you a preview picture.

The car still has lots of presence, the first tuning goodies are on it’s way from Japan.

It’s still a crowd pleaser, my guess is that this is the first R35 that set foot on Ireland’s soil.

Here is the EVO IX, it has the full Voltex bodykit, Power Enterprise turbo and stoker kit, Amuse Ti exhaust, HKS Kansai chassi strengthening parts and Carbonetic clutch and diff. The car itself is based on the Cyber Evo from Japan that has driven numerous Tsukuba Time Attack records.

Only thin gmissing are wider wheels and carbon fibre doors, those parts are on order. I will keep you guys updated.

HKS EVO X

HKS has also started their magic on the new EVO X. They started with thier electronic goodies like the HKS EVC5, F-con and their VAC Type M system. all these systems are bolt on items and can be integrated into the cars system. In the engine compartment HKS used their turbo hard pipes, blow off valve and their suction kit. Their are no power figures yet because HKS is in their testing fase,

On the outside of the car we see the Advan Racing RZ rims in 19″x10 with a ET of +35. You can also see a glimpse of the Bride GIAS seats.

In the third test they will put the JUN build Evo X and the Original Runduce Impreza against each other. The other two competitors are an Evo VIII and a GDB Impreza. On Tsukuba the JUN Evo X mamaged a time of 1:01.309 and the Original Runduce Impreza managed a time of 1:03.947. So according these times the JUN Evo X should be quicker than the Impreza
